OUR STORY

Built on the shop floor

Gustavo Gutiérrez, a civil engineer from Venezuela, came to Canada in 2014 and took every job that came his way. During the day he worked as an estimator without pay, because he knew that experience would open doors. After three years in a stainless and miscellaneous metals shop, he started a company with two other welders. There were three of them, which is why it’s called Triple Weld. He built an estimating department for another shop, ran projects from survey to installation, and earned the trust of his clients. One of them, ready to retire, offered to sell him his business. That shop in Etobicoke is where Triple Weld works today, and Gustavo still leads every project personally.

Fabrication and installation, under one roof

We fabricate and install. One team handles your steel from shop drawings to the final bolt, so you have one point of contact and one company accountable for the result.

Structural Steel

Columns, beams, frames and canopies for new builds, additions and renovations.

Stairs & Railings

Steel stairs, exit stairs, guards and handrails, built to code and installed on site.

Mezzanines

Warehouse and industrial mezzanines that add usable floor space without moving.

Miscellaneous Metals

Ladders, bollards, lintels, angles, embeds, grating and custom metalwork.

Rooftop RTU Dunnage & Access Stairs

Dunnage platforms for rooftop units, with access stairs and platforms for safe servicing.

Joist Reinforcement

Reinforcement of open-web steel joists for new rooftop and suspended loads.

Steel Detailing & Shop Drawings

Shop and fabrication drawings delivered as PDF, DWG, DXF and NC files and checked internally before release. This service is also available to fabricators and contractors outside Ontario.

HOW WE WORK

A clear process from drawing to install

01 – Review & Quote

Send us your drawings or a description of the job. We review the scope and come back with a clear quote and lead time.

02 – Shop Drawings

We prepare detailed shop drawings for your review and approval. Every drawing is checked internally before it goes out.

03 – Fabrication

Once the drawings are approved, we fabricate in our Etobicoke shop.

04 – Installation

We deliver and install on site, coordinating with your schedule and the other trades.

Safety on every site

Steel work happens at height, around other trades and often in buildings that stay open while we work. We plan for that before we arrive.

Proper PPE on every site, every day
